A true Ohio River classic. The Jenny Ann is one of the last operating ferries, linking Higginsport, Ohio to Augusta, Kentucky. Even if you are not boating, driving your car onto the ferry is a fun, throwback way to cross the river and turn dinner into a little adventure.
Beehive Augusta Tavern
A destination meal with a riverfront setting that actually delivers. The vibe is historic and welcoming, and it is the kind of place you do not rush. It pairs perfectly with a slow stroll by the water before you head back to your RV at Shady Rest.

A well-loved local spot right in the heart of downtown. It is casual, comfortable, and easy, especially when you want something simple that still feels like a true river-town stop. Great for a low-key meal before you cross back to Ohio.
