Scope
This policy describes how Shady Rest LLC, doing business as Shady Rest Campground ("Shady Rest," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information associated with the Shady Rest Campground Informational Text Updates program. It applies to this SMS program and does not describe all information processing associated with campground rentals, payments, contracts, or other website services.
Information collected
We collect your mobile number and may associate it with your name and campsite to provide relevant notices. We maintain records of your subscription and consent, including the date, method, and applicable consent disclosures. We also process messages sent to the program, unsubscribe requests, automated HELP requests, and message delivery information. Ordinary replies are not monitored. Contact us by telephone or email for campground assistance.
Use of information
We use program information to send the informational messages you requested, respond to inquiries, administer subscriptions, honor opt-out requests, maintain consent records, troubleshoot delivery, protect the program against misuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
We do not use this program to send advertising or promotional offers.
Information sharing
We do not sell or rent your mobile number. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Our messaging service provider and wireless carriers process destination numbers, message content, and delivery information as necessary to transmit and support program messages. This processing does not authorize those parties to use your information for their own marketing or to enroll you in other messaging programs.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
Your choices
Enrollment is voluntary. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You may also contact reservations@theshadyrestcampground.com or (513) 278-8210 to withdraw consent, correct your number, or ask questions about information associated with your subscription.
We may retain a limited opt-out record after you unsubscribe to prevent further messages. A request to delete information may be subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements and the need to maintain that suppression record.
Retention
We retain program information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, document consent, honor your preferences, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Information no longer needed for these purposes is deleted or de-identified.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect program information and limit access to personnel who need it for campground operations. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Policy updates
We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date. An update does not authorize new uses of your information that require additional consent.
