Shady Rest Campground offers optional recurring informational texts about campground stays and operations. No advertising or promotional offers are included.
Consent script
Campground staff read the following disclosures and obtain an affirmative response before enrolling a camper:
Would you like to receive recurring informational texts from Shady Rest Campground about your stay, such as maintenance, water outages, and campground notices? Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. It is optional and is not a condition of renting a campsite. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Our SMS terms and privacy policy are available on our website. Do you agree to receive these texts at [phone number]?
Recording consent
After a clear affirmative response, staff record the mobile number, date of consent, staff member who collected it, and the script version used. The script version is October 11, 2026. Providing a mobile number alone does not enroll a camper. Staff do not enroll a camper who declines or whose consent is unclear.
