Program operator and purpose
The Shady Rest Campground Informational Text Updates program is operated by Shady Rest LLC, doing business as Shady Rest Campground ("Shady Rest," "we," "us," or "our").
The program provides recurring informational text messages concerning your campground stay and campground operations. Messages may include maintenance notices, utility interruptions, access changes, weather-related operational updates, and other notices relevant to campers. The program does not include advertising or promotional offers.
Enrollment and consent
You must expressly consent before receiving recurring program messages. Consent may be provided through a verbal consent process administered by campground staff. Providing a telephone number for another purpose does not enroll you in this program.
Participation is voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of renting a campsite, making a purchase, or receiving campground services. Consent applies only to the informational messages described in this program.
By enrolling, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and are authorized to consent to messages at that number. Please notify us if your number changes or is reassigned.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to campground operations and your requests. Message and data rates may apply to messages sent and received. Your wireless provider determines any applicable charges. Contact your provider for details about your plan.
Unsubscribing
Reply STOP to a program message to unsubscribe. You may receive one final message confirming your request. No further program messages will be sent unless you provide a new express opt-in. You may also contact us using the support information below to withdraw consent.
Unsubscribing from this program does not cancel your campsite reservation or rental agreement.

Delivery and emergencies
Delivery depends on your wireless provider, device, and network availability. Messages may be delayed or undelivered. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
This program is not an emergency-response service and should not be relied upon as the sole source of urgent information. Call 911 in an emergency.
Privacy
Our SMS Privacy Policy explains how we handle information associated with this program. We do not sell, rent, or transfer your SMS consent to other organizations.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes do not expand the scope of your consent. If a change requires additional consent, we will obtain that consent before sending messages covered by the change.
