Rules & Policies
We keep the rules simple so everyone can relax. These exist to protect the atmosphere that makes Shady Rest special.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily. This lets early risers fish in peace and late-night campers wind down without conflict.

Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout the entire park. Drive slowly for children, pets, and walkers on the lanes.

Pets: Must be kept on a leash at all times. Clean up after your pet immediately. We love dogs here — leashes keep it that way for everyone.

Trash: Please bag all trash and place it in the dumpsters provided near the exit. Keeps the wildlife out and the grounds looking great.

Visitors: All visitors must register at the office upon arrival. This is a private, seasonal community — we keep track so everyone feels safe.

Campfires: Allowed in designated fire rings only. Do not move fire rings. Ground fires can scar the sites and create safety issues.

Alcohol: Permitted at your campsite only. No open containers in common areas. Enjoy responsibly and keep the vibe family-friendly.
